COMMON NAME / BOTANICAL NAME
Mother in Law's Tongue, Sansevieria 'Golden Flame'
OVERVIEW
A rare sort of snake plant, this particular species boasts sensational variegation that changes as the plant matures. New leaves will be almost completely yellow, and as they develop they will take on increasingly deep green.
The leaves will also bend out as they age, creating a floral shape that puts the yellow in the centre getting greener as it reaches the outer edges of the plant.
A tremendously easy pick, perfect as a gift or for plant novices. Hardly ever needs re-potting, very versatile and can be propagated from offshoots.
LIGHT
Somewhere nice and sunny, where it will be exposed to lots of natural light without an overdose of direct sun.

Very sparingly. During summer, it will need watering up to twice a month. Very very little in winter. When watering, soak the compost completely and then allow to dry out totally
