OVERVIEW

An impactful indoor plant that thrives on neglect, Lepismium bolivianum was first formally identified in Bolivia. It boasts large hanging leaves that curve and droop in unique patterns giving each plant a unique identity.
An epiphytic cactus, it requires minimal watering and barely any sunshine to flourish. Can be hung from a high place to allow its foliage to cascade gracefully from the container, or placed on a shelf or counter top to spread out.
This plant is brilliant at cleaning the air and occasionally produces pinkish white flowers.

It will do best kept above 15°C

WATER

Just leave it alone in the winter, and during summer only water when the compost is totally, totally bone dry. When that time comes, soak it completely.

FOOD

A cactus food once a month during summer.

Avoid humid rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens, and ensure the pot has plenty of drainage.
